Lisa was reported missing by her neighbor on May 1, 2007. Lisa’s vehicle was still parked at home but her purse and cell phone were missing. There’s been no further activity on her credit card or her cell phone. Lisa’s estranged husband claims she had been taken voluntarily or forcefully taken from their home at approximately 6 p.m. on April 30, 2007. He’s stated that he was in the backyard when Lisa disappeared and their children were not at home. He reported that Lisa went to the HS track every night to exercise and she only took her cell phone and purse with her when she went. He believes someone picked her up. He did voluntarily hand over the family computer to police. During the course of the investigation, they did find an internet posting Lisa made on April 11th seeking female friends to exercise with.

Four months before Lisa disappeared, Plainfield police say they responded to a domestic disturbance at the Stebic’s, but no one was arrested because it was a verbal altercation, non-violent. Craig had filed for divorce in January. He stated that Lisa told him in October of 2006 that she didn’t want to be married anymore and since then, while they lived together, they lived separate lives and barely spoke.

Lisa is 5 feet 2 inches (1.57 m) tall, 120 pounds (54 kg), with brown hair and brown eyes. She has two visible tattoos, a small rose on her ankle and a large butterfly on her lower back.
